Proportion: Refers to the relative size and scale of the various elements in a design. It’s the relationship between objects, or parts, of a whole.

Unity: All together

Balance: The way of which elements of a piece are arranged

Emphasis: Something that stands out and is the focal point

Rhythm: Repeating a pattern or component

Variety: Different components coming together to make a whole
